משימה 3: Reading "The Giver" by Lois Lowry

Read thr book "The Giver" and write book report.

As you begin reading the book Giver you enter a world of sameness. Jonas lives in a world of black and white. Up to this day Jonas was a normal boy going to school and waiting for the day he gets his job. Until his job was to became the new receiver. The receiver is the oldest guy holding on to all the memories. Happy, like your first christmas. Sad, like watching someone die. Scary, like being out of control. As I read the book I went through a roller coaster of feelings. When I found out about the gray world I thought, “how could someone live without colors?” I was very sad when Jonas got bad memories that left him shaking. I understand from the book that sometime it is better not know other times you need to know. Also that everybody is different, you don't need the same memories you just need the same feelings. I wonder how it feels to live in a world of sameness with no memories of the real world around you, not knowing how you are different.
